President's Letter

Thank you for visiting our website to learn about Allied Arts Guild and our Auxiliary.

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of Allied arts Guild Auxiliary for 2010. This year begins the fifth anniversary of our re-opening after renovation. In those five years, Allied Arts Guild has returned to its former glory and more! Fourteen fabulous shops and boutiques, lush gardens, a state-of-the-art conference center, and a wonderful restaurant, Café Primavera. It has taken the efforts of countless volunteer hours to make this all happen; and all for the benefit of the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

When I became a member in 2003, I realized that not only could I support the health and well being of children without health care, but I could also help maintain a historic landmark and promote the arts in our community. This is what Allied Arts Guild Auxiliary is all about. I am proud to be a part of an organization where volunteers are committed and passionate about what they do.

This year, Tally Ho, our annual fundraiser returns to Menlo Circus Club for Tally Hoedown on September 11th. Please be reminded that a portion of every ticket you purchase or every event you book at Allied Arts Guild goes directly to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.

Please join us as a guest, a new member, or a Community Friend by following the links on this website: alliedartsguild.org. I am looking forward to a wonderful year ahead as this year's President.

"Because every child’s life is precious."

Laurel D. Trask,
President AAGA
