Hidden in the back of the property
along San Francisquito Creek, the Barn Woodshop looks like something
out of an old Western movie. Originally constructed in 1885,
the Barn Woodshop is home to Al Kieninger, a "recognized
master" in the crafts of custom furniture making, antique
restoration, and wood carving. Al worked for many years with
Martin Nelson, the original woodshop owner. Today, Al practices
his art with unparalleled and unmatched craftsmanship.
